This picture means a great deal to me. When I draw, it's usually one thing floating in a space of white. I never attempted a background because it was an intimidating thought. I loved my original drawing of Arion, God of Music, but ask you can see it was him and then white. Very static. There was no story to it. So I attempted to draw a background. A REAL background. You know, I put some effort into it. Now, while there might not be a story written in this picture, at least there is more substance.
Arion is one of my original characters. His bio can be found here. And the kanji (Japanese characters) on his arm stand for "music." (I hope!) Enjoy! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
